Greetings for GANDA EVER

Who in General Santos have not heard the name ORMAN MANANSALA? The BANKER, the chubby SOCIALITE(ehem), the original FESTIVAL QUEEN (Even the non-netizens know him through the successful events he mounts annually) and for those who can read this we now know the BLOGGER Orman.

I am an avid reader of GenSan News Online Mag, I also got hooked with PLURK, if you are quiet active with these two, you would not surely miss this lipstick wearing frog icon on your screen. When Sir Orman first announced that he got a new blog, I am one of those who first clicked his link.

Masyadong serious....

Ganda Ever So Much!

Seeing GandaEverSoMuch.com , for the very first time is refreshing. The poetry-like writing captured this lazy reader in me and from then on I knew visiting this page will be a roller coaster ride.

GandaEverSoMuch is like a LOCAL CHISMIS engine that can be likened to PEP(Philippine entertainment Portal) highlighting the TELEDRAMATIC life of the owner ofcourse.

Hard hitting reality tips and write-ups, especially when it comes to relationships makes me come back for more. I often link those type on my FACEBOOK account and most of my friends like it that often draw up chat conversation among long lost friends. In short, Ganda Ever loyal readers will always have a juicy topic everytime they will get together. Oh dibah, bringing FILIPINOS worldwide CLOSER ang drama.

There you go! Plain and simple! Ayokong lumaking sobra ang HEART ni Ganda Ever. Ilang araw na din siya nag EEGO tripping kakabasa ng mga BLOGPOST niyo. (peace Sir Orman)

Happy birthday to this INFLUENTIAL BLOG EVER!

May NagText: VICE GANDA live in GENSAN

Before she made it big at Show Time, I had been a big fan of Vice Ganda even following her in Youtube and trying not to missed her rare TV Appearances.

To those of you who does not know, Vice Ganda already paid the Generals a visit sometime October last year. I never missed that chance of watching her live and free at KCC Mall of General Santos. (Click this about that stint

Vice Ganda's First Show in General Santos City at the KCC Mall

From that day on, Vice Ganda had been a staple in every household here and abroad. To prove her popularity, Vice Ganda's followers on FaceBook reached millions in less than a month and even  filled the Araneta Colisuem on her first ever Major Concert tagged “May Nag-Text…Yung Totoo: Vice Ganda sa Araneta!” early this year.

A super duper big thanks to the kind hearted producers MANIO EVENTS MANAGEMENT , for they are bringing Vice Ganda back to the city by the bay as Bariles put it himself. Oh yes. We will be seeing Vice Ganda live and in flesh on June 27, 2010 at the Lagao Gymnasium people. I know you've been waiting for this. So do not miss the chance. Go and check out  “MAY NAG-TEXT! MAY SHOW AKO?” LIVE IN GENSAN.

It sure is a night full of laughters and aching stomach with Vice Ganda on the 27th. May have mentioned that "With Kean of Callalily present as an icing to an already delicious cake will surely complete the set", but instead of Kean, Glady's Reyes*  will be replacing him.  Its a date then. Save up and treat yourself with a very worthy artist. You may choose among the following ticket prizes:

                      -  P250 (General Admission)
                - P500 (Lower Box)
                - P750 (Courtyard, Back Portion)
                -  P1,000 (Courtyard, Front Portion)

Hugs and kisses to Bariles Republic for a FREE invite ;)

Special thank you as well to all the sponsors: Asia United Bank, Red Trellis, Rachero Grill and Restaurant, Pablo's, Paseo del Sol, Microtel Davao, Kiko's, MP Princess Digital Printing Solution, Family Country Homes, ABS-CBN, 94.3 Easy Rock, Brigada, K101 FM Love Radio and 98.3 Home Radio.

*Gladys Reyes got her popularity from a long running soap opera that made Judy Ann Santos Known as well, remember Mara Clara? Gladys is one of our favorite kontrabida in Phillippine Television. She was also once played kontrabida against Vice Ganda at SHOWTIME. If you enjoyed Vice's and Gladys' antics at showtime they sure will be enjoyable to watch on stage.

BEEN TO: BAGUIO

Breaking away from the hellish heat, I had the chance to have an almost week-long reclusion in the country's Summer Capital. From warm or shall I say beyond hot weather im used of, Baguio is such a SWEET ESCAPE.

From the airport, my group directly went to the Bus Terminal bound for Baguio. The 8-hour bus ride was tedious. For 1st timers, I would recommend you to sleep while your still in the Metro so that you'll be wide awake when you reach the Provinces you'll get to pass by, the likes of Pampanga, Pangasinan, Tarlac and La Union to name a few.

One of the locales said that we're lucky cause we just came on the right time for it is somewhat warm in Baguio. WARM? They consider it warm when I cannot even go out without my sweaters on? Well obviously, I am not just used of this kind of weather makign me wish that I can bring some of the climate back home.

On your first step of Baguio, you'll be welcomed by the cool breeze that will surely sink on your bones.

From the bus stop, if you are a total stranger with the place, transient inns will do for you but if you are going with a group better contact our guy KUYA ERNIE for he will not only provide you with a ride but can offer good lodging deals like the one we stayed.

When in Baguio, make sure not to miss these places:

Botanical Garden

If you want to be one with nature, the peaceful and green ambiance of Botanical Garden will surely be appreciated. Sitting inside the serene park, surrounded with tall, green and luscious trees, would  make you thank GOD for HIS wonderful creations. Expect to be welcomed by the "Katutubo" as you get inside, you have to pay them though if you want your photo taken with them.

The Mansion

Make Sure not to miss to have your photo taken with the Mansion as the background. The Mansion for those of you who does not know serves as the Summer Crib of the President of the country and their family.

Burnham Park

Just right in the Baguio's busy center, looking for this place is not a hassle. A walking distance from the Market place and SM Baguio, it is nice to take a walk while enjoying the cool breeze and scenery in Burnham Park. You can also have a boat ride to add a romantic set up to your trip.

SM Baguio

The only non-air conditioned SM Branch in the Philippines, I really love the idea of strolling and window shopping inside an environment friendly mall. Just imagine having your hair blown while your waiting in line at the cashier.

Mines View Park

Mine View Park is the a shoppers haven. This is where you can have great finds that you can bring home. Make sure to wear a comfortable pair of shoes or slippers sot hat nothing can stop you from your shopping spree. From knitted wardrobe selection to bottled Baguio delicacies, a visit to Mines View will not fail you.

Strawberry Farm at Benguet

30-minute ride away from the City, another worthwhile experience thatyou should not missed is the strawberry picking. In a minimum amount, you may pick strawberries as many as you want. But if I were you I will not pick numbers of them if you wont be able to finish them all in a day. They easily get spoiled. Better bring home processed strawberries (e.g. jams)

Do not also miss and visit PMA and while your on your shopping spree try checking out the Baguio Market for some Ukay-Ukay.
